congratulations on POTD. as a beginner to this craft, I have a question. I have read that a photographer should attempt to have a rectangular light reflection in eyes. This photo has round ones. How important is this?

Happy for you getting the POTD! I like the use of the non-standard size to display the eyes. The softness contrasts well with the sharpness of the eye area, making them stand out nicely. Good concept.

Thank you Cari and Leanne. I adjusted a bit, levels and colors, and retouched the right eye to hide a little flash glare. (I used rear curtain flash at the end of a long exposure.)
