Absolutely breathtaking. I'd say your drive was worth it!! Same reaction today as when I saw this yesterday, at least I think it's the same image. I love the way the light comes down the falls with the water. I'm guessing we're going to see this one again!! At least we'd better!!! Simply magnificent. And just in case you are left wondering I really LOVE this image!!

Simply stunning, Darren! I need to log on to your gallery more often. This is true beauty. You mentioned a sunny blue sky....was this a well-shaded spot or did you employ a NDL or polarizer? Just trying to learn as I love attempting this kind of shot now and then and always seem to get better results with a polarizing filter:-)

I vote that you make sunshine and blue skies a regular part of your waterfall shots! The lighting on the water and moss is wonderful, but there's still just enough shadow left for drama. Beautiful colors and great comp, too!
