Pearls of Slavonija


	Pearls of Slavonija On this picture you can see a traditional Slavonian (Slavonija is an east part of Croatia) horse carriages with people in custume wear. They have a competition and the best carriage wins. This event happens every year as a part of folklore festival Brod Wheel that has been held in my hometown Slavonski Brod for over 40 years. It is the oldest festival in Croatia. Through a series of various folklore shows, the Brod Wheel presents the folklore heritage of Slavonija. Horses are very valuable here and they are often called „Pearls of Slavonija“. I will put some more pictures of this event in the next few days..with dilema, Animals or People category.
