This is NOT a posed photo! (believe it or not).
---
I was visiting a pot-bellied pig rescue farm as part of this year's Bucks County Barns of Distinction Tour. This man is the dad of one of the owners and actually resides in the little building in front of which he is sitting. The building was erected in 1733.
---
His house is near the entrance so he sort of took on the task of greeting visitors. Well, in a moment of friendly frustration, he took off his hat and slammed it onto the ground, his body moving forward at the waist and his head looking down.
---
Blurred FACE from slow shutter speed. Who knew? Anyway, to salvage the moment, I "unheaded" his face from another forward-looking shot and mounted it over the blurred one, rotating it until it looked natural.
----
What a storied history this man has!

An a wonderful story it does tell, without knowing the back story Michelle. It has a times past feel with your treatment in B&W. Most of all, the implied motion provided emotions and interest. Very Nice! Ann

An excellent capture of the moment Michelle! I would say his home could do with a lick of paint!

I love the portrait--full of the character of the character. Had you not said, I'd not have guessed about the substitution. I'm glad you did it. The picture engages me at all levels.
