Hi Mauro! I love your macros they are awesome! Congrats on all your wins.

I had some questions for you. What kind of lighting did you use for this shot? Is it natural or do you use strobes? What time of day? Do you use a reflector? Do you have the aperture and shutter speed by any chance?

Thanks so much and congratulations once again.

  Thanks for your comment.
For this image I used the natural light, on a balcony covered by a curtain striken by the sun. The white background and the white wall has created a nice lighting. It was about two o'clock in the afternoon and it was very very hot... I think the aperture was 5,6f but I'm not sure about the shutter speed, but not less than 1/60, using a tripod. I purchased just few days ago a flash kit with two heads so that I can finally take this kind of shots with the rain too. My latest postings here are made with that lighting system. I hope I answered yo all your questions. Thanks again

Hi Mauro, thank you so much for taking the time so answer my questions, I appreciate it. I truly love your aproach and I can absolutely relate to it. This is the kind of thing I'm trying to go after.

Did you use any kind of reflector for any of your shots?

Thanks again, and congratulations once more.

No reflectors used at the moment but I'm going to buy some sooner or later...
