Still Looking ...

  Still Looking ...
Still Looking ...

----
This was shot during a fungus hunt (led by a witty mycologist) at Washington Crossing State Park on Sunday.
----
It's not the time of year for finding fresh specimens, but it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
----
I used a couple of layers of BUZZ presets from TOPAZ Simplify to make this shot of the "hunters" more interesting.
------------
Congratulations to all the March Finalists and encouragement to those of us who are "Still Looking!"

Brings back memories of going hunting for mushrooms with my dad back on the farm - except it was just the two of us. Cool capture!

Very cool shot and interesting treatments, Michelle! I used to go hunting mushrooms in Poland every season and I consider myself a good fungus hunter! :P I am talking obviously about edible mushrooms :-) Here,in the USA I also found some chanterelle mashrooms and we cooked them with scrambled eggs for breakfast few times :P

What a wonderful presentation Michelle! In my younger days I grew mushrooms in my downstairs laundry!

I actually love what you've done here Michelle, the scene got me thinking at first to what they could possibly be looking for. And the treatment worked well for you!
