Onyx--Down on his Luck

-----

-----
Actually it was Easter Sunday and Onyx's house was filled with visitors after church. Most of the children were older than he was, and frankly, I think he was too tired to try to keep up with them playing.
----
In this grungy shot, Onyx is content to just watch me photographing him through the stair rail on his stoop.
----
Used Nik Silver Efex and some OnOne textures.
---------
[Been a rough week for me--first I was battling some evil malware, and then a major internet breakdown. I think I'm back now!]

Exception work Michelle. Love the pose through the bars of the rail, especially the eyes. The black and white and the grunge look work perfectly for the picture. Amazing and beautifully done.

Well, touch as they are, I'm glad the evil things happened computerwise rather than personally. And I'm glad you've conquered the nasty stuff. This is a truly marvelous portrait. I look and look and love it.

Meant "tough," of course. I do wish this site would let one edit one's things after hitting enter.

Another winner for me. Same sweet and sad child. :((((

I hope he has good things in his future. Not likely. It's so heart breaking.
Excellent reporting and image.
