Gimme That Cracker!

Since this was taken at the Tropical Rainforest, I didn't remove anything in the background. I wanted this to still look like a rainforest.

The PP was some burning of the background and dodging of the birds. I removed the green color cast that seemed to permeate the entire environment there. I also did a dynamic contrast adjustment in Nik Color Efx.

I love the color in the birds. The colors in the birds stand out very nice against the background.

these guys are always fun to shoot. I like the way your PP makes them stand out from the background.

This image is a very good candidate for a horizontal flip. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

I didn't realize this was 2 birds until I read your comment that said "birds" instead of bird singular..I thought the body of the foreground bird was the wing of the other bird and the foreground bird's head was the other one's claw feeding himself. I think I need glasses...

Anyhooo...it is a nice shot and WLTSDS, don't think it needs much else..

The flip was going to be my suggestion, but the old guy beat me to it. . . .

Dale, I went to PS and found the horizontal flip. I'll work on it as doom as I can.

Okay, I have a question. The horizontal flip just turns the birds so they are facing the other direction.

It this what you are talking about, Dale and Jeff? Or are you wanting the whole photo changed to horizontal from vertical?

Great colors! Yes the flip will just change the direction the birds are facing. It can amaze you what a simple flip will do for some shots. You have to be careful with well known scenes and people and of course if there is any writing in the shot it will not work.
