Actually Nancy they are not due to the drought. This lady a patient of mine planted these in her garden and waters them. There are a few scatted one on HiWay 90 going toward San Antonio however.

If I was a little desert animal, I'd want that pot to be my home! What a pad it would be! I hope you are all better now. I am just getting over pneumonia. Being a person with asthma I bet you can imagine the fun I have had with it?? :D Being sick is horrible, as you know. We have about 4 inches of fresh snow from last night and today. It's so refreshing out but even more so to see such beauty here near your neck of the woods! -Laura :)
