This image above the Blue ridge mountains shows thunderheads and dense fog at sunset. That night,We had very severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours and a lot of wind. The temperatures variations were high, low and inbetween. It was scary. Iin the morning the fog wa zero% visability . THis is an example of what caused all of that weather.

I see some cirrus, altostratus, cumulonimbus, and stratus clouds (extending from higher to lower altitude), within the tropospheric atmosphere. And I see a pretty sunset too. Beautiful work, Donna!

Mother nature can be beautiful and deadly all at the same time. I really enjoyed the story behind the picture. This was a favorite for me as the colors and look with the layers of colors are so beautiful. A gorgeous work. Be safe my friend.
