This is not a good picture, but had to try this out. Took a glass of hot water and through it into the air. It turned to snow instantly. Going to try it again tomorrow.

Whew! Don't know if it would do that here - it's just -3 now (without factoring in wind chill). Sounds kind of silly under the circumstances, but this is really cool!
