Hi Cathy, just two words in favor of the color "white". Sometimes (too often) we don't think of "white" as a color, that is wrong. In fact white is the sum of all the colors available in nature. If there is one color, that is white. Although I had erasers of other colors, I wanted to use the white one for this particular shot. Using something white in a very colorful picture such as this one, helps to emphasize the saturation and at the same time to recognize every color as it really is; because "white" is always a reference point. I finally like to think of "white" as a crack in a window that lets in a gentle breeze of clean fresh air inside a closed room over saturated with "colors". However, Cathy, I like your honest feed back. In the end it is all a matter of personal preferences, you know?
