  Thanks Dayna.

The original doesn't look so much like this. I did spend a LOT of time aligning the shot (adjusting the benches which were chained to the structure) and trying to come up with a satisfactory composition...limited by the structure and the water behind me, and the fact that my tripod was packed. The shadow was brought out by manipulation -- it was actually there, but not so prominent. This has some vertical distortion and toning as well. I use a fairly unique tone-mapping method for duotones and tritones.

It was a sad day, on the way out from one of the most interesting vacations I ever took...
