Bandon Rocks
I walked out amongst the ancients at low tide to watch the colorful sunset. The sun was setting behind Face Rock, which doesn’t look as much like a face from this angle. But Komax is there… on the left… still baying for his mistress Ewauna… or at the Chinook moon.Quote of the Day: “And there were other rocks that were like animals, creeping, horrible animals, putting out their tongues, and others were like words I could not say, and others like dead people lying on the grass. I went on among them, though they frightened me, and my heart was full of wicked song they put into it; and I wanted to make faces and twist myself about the way they did, and I went on and on a long way till at last I liked the rocks and they didn’t frighten me any more” -Arthur Machen Nikon D700, 20 mm f/2.8D Lens @ f/13, 1/640 sec exposure. ISO 200. 1/7/2013, 5:44 PM, Bandon, Oregon, USA (POTD, 10/30/2013–9571)

Great photographers are not great because of their technique; they are great because of their passion. Congratulations for your achievement, November, 2013 Merna
