For people in the greater Philadelphia region, the answer to those questions is Red Cross House.

For the last ten years, Red Cross House has been celebrating the resilience of the human spirit—providing housing and ongoing support to help local and regional victims of home fires and other unforeseen disasters regroup, renew, and begin again. And every day we see people come back from tragedy stronger than before. Not just starting over.

Red Cross House is funded exclusively through donations from individuals, organizations, and corporations."
