Fabulous find, Patrick. Seen a lot of these up at Peggy's Cove.

Fascinating, wavy rows and rows and rows, Patrick, and the colors are lovely.
Like you, I feel bad for anyone who makes (or tries to make) a living from the sea.

You forgot how dangerous being out on the ocean is Paddy. Talked to a lady in Nova Scotia a few years back, she lost her son and her husband to the sea.
Somebody gets rich on the back of the working man, but that is nothing new. Great capture here Paddy, well done my friend!!

Beautiful sunny capture of the tools of the trade. A sad story you tell. It's not as though there is no skill or hard work involved either.

Spectacular warm lighting, depth, lines and detail, Patrick! It's always the ones who do the hard work who get compensated the least, isn't it? A wonderful document and tribute to the hard-working people who fish the seas.

A wonderful scene and capture Patrick! The money is in the selling, not the catching of seafood!

Thanks you, everyone. As Gord mentioned above, everyone knows a family who have lost a son/daughter/ parent at sea. I most certainly do. There are cases where families have lost three of their members making a living of the the sea.
The North Atlantic can be very unforgiving.

Love lobster but they do not get to the desert very often. When I lived in Virginia had them flown down from Maine fresh.
