I missed the Canyon last year. We usually drive there when we are on our Vegas vacation. Short on time we went to Bryce and Zion, which was wonderful also~ This is a wonderful capture,as,I have never seen this Shoshone Point~

Thanks, Millieanne. Since we live about four hours south of the South Rim I don't know why I don't get up there more often....probably because I'm usually headed off to new places....this is a spot I will return to...it was wonderful!

Thanks, Tammy & Dee. Dee, we didn't know about it either until I read about it in a hike book...then found out more about the trail from a park ranger....it's so worth the one mile hike in!!! Yes, when you come back out west maybe we can go together....

Hi Laura....you can see I'm just catching up with all the emails and comments, etc. etc. etc....we arrived safe & sound on Friday the 9th, but it has taken me time to clean the trailer, laundry, etc. etc....today Pull Truck went in for her oil change and check up...then of course the stop at Costco on the way home.....hope you had fun in Jasper...I'll eventually start posting...when I can get Lightroom and my computer behave...not having a fun time of this Lightroom thing...oh well...I'm really in no hurry either....have a great evening ahead! =^..^=

Quite the journey....almost 10,000 miles wow!!!! our longest was 6000 miles (9600 or so kms) So happy you are back safe & sound....have to visit your site to see your adventures in photos...have a marvelous evening...and thank you for viewing my page again....

Hi Tony...thank you so much. I'm still in the duldroms with respect to my photography....since retiring I've joined two other clubs in our community and have been extremely busy there...Lapidary and Silvercraft. I'm doing most of my learning on copper, which I love anyway. Silver is very expensive (we won't even talk about gold LOL) I've always loved rocks and have them all over my house. Now I get to grind and polish them and use them in jewelry I'll create. Anyway....gone on too long.....have a wonderful evening and warmest regards to Chris...=^..^=
