I love reflections and would also like to get a close up of those Aspens. With reflections such as this, the center weighted comp works well. I like it. For a different look and one that keeps the eye from bouncing back and forth, have you tried applying a horizontal motion blur of about 10 pixels to the water area?

No suggestions on this one I think it looks great as shown. I like the minimalist look - very simple yet effective. I already see motion in the water so am curious to see what Dale's suggestion would do for the shot.
