Wonderful, and long may they pollinate and prosper. I read that 30% of the bees in North America (?) died off last year.

Very lovely image, Songbird! How awful about our bee population... we have our very own hive so, I guess I will have to think of them as endangered now. How sad.

The honey bee population world wide is dying. Humans rely on honey bees to pollinate OUR food, especially nuts and fruit crops. Without the bees we are in real trouble. The mites are a HUGE issue, and also pesticides. We also have 4 hives and take very good care of OUR bees.
