Delightful, Judy, with the alert pose and the pretty environment. If I'm not mistaken, this is a mockingbird, which has become a favorite backyard bird for me since moving to Florida.

Yes, Mitch, this is a mockingbird. We have a pair getting berries off a tree in our yard and they are building a nest in my neighbor's yard. They are working hard building, protecting the area from other birds and then there are lots of cats in our neighborhood. The yard where they are building in a tree has 3 cats.
