Manual exposure, F8, 1/25 sec, ISO 400, 25-105mm lens @ 24, This was taken behind the falls under the cliff that the water rolls off of. This is a beautiful place after a rain. Located in McCreary County, KY, Yahoo Falls drops about 150 feet into a stream that winds it's way thru the forest. There are wooden bridges that cross the creek in several areas. It's a fairly easy hike down to the falls, not so easy hiking back out. LOL

Here's another view to give you a sense of scale. There is another photographer on the other side of the falls.

That's always my problem - going down is no problem but the other direction is, well, next to impossible! Beautifully done!

What an amazing perspective on the falls! The water looks like it could be pouring straight down from the sky! I love this!

I can't take my eyes off that very tiny human figure in your second photo, Dayna - the sense of scale is totally incredible and mind-boggling. What amazing captures - beautiful, beautiful work! (Yahoo Falls just went on my bucket list!:)
