1/2500s @ f/5.6, ISO 800, Nikkor 500mm f/4G ED VR @ 700mm, 1.4X TC.
...in Lafayette, IN in February!!! Taken today (2/21/13), these mostly Ring-billed Gulls are feeding and congregating on the Wabash, which is partially frozen. The river system is a heavily used migration corridor. Have no idea how long they will stay.
