I love the composition and the image when viewed on the small side. The bright reflections I find somewhat distracting when looking at the image fully opened. If they were a tad less bright I think I would adore this shot.

Thanks for your comments, Mary and Michelle. Michelle, I appreciate what you're saying. I've already darkened the reflections a bit, but at the moment, I like the result as is, probably because I'm still too close to the experience of shooting the scene. With more time to become emotionally detached, I might agree wholeheartedly with you. Stay tuned!

Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.
