Thanks, Brett. It was almost an old-fashioned storm. By that I mean a milder version of an old fashioned storm. We received 9.5 to 10 inches of heavy, wet snow. The wind turned it into blizzard conditions and the storm lasted all day. In the olden days 40 years ago, a winter storm would have easily laid down 16 inches of snow and lasted two to three days. So, this storm was enough of reminder of what used to be. There is a calm effect from seeing the snow fall, but excitement too because it a "blizzard." We have more snow coming. Hopefully in smaller doses.
