Tree Spirit

  Tree Spirit
Tree Spirit

It Pays to Slow Down and Look.
??? OR DOES IT ???

In Ancient Cultures It Is Believed
That Spirits Inhabit The Trees.
Some Feel It Their Mission To Find
Such Spirits And Work To
Release Them!

This one seems to be emerging!

Boo!

Cool use of selective color, Pom, and that light is perfect!
I believe you've captured the birth of a nymph here. Good ol' Wikipedia says:
"Different from goddesses, nymphs are generally regarded as divine spirits who animate nature, and are usually depicted as beautiful, young, nubile maidens who love to dance and sing... They are believed to dwell in mountains and groves, by springs and rivers, and also in TREES..."
Maybe you could let your creative spirit go wild, and show us a sample of this particular divine spirit's "earthly" form...? ;-D

Gosh, Pom, last night, I was enjoying the selective color so much, I didn't even notice the eyes above it! Glad Michelle mentioned them.
Oh, by the way ~ Ivy does indeed belong in the group that bears her name. :)
