It'a a Talapia ( FOR MONNIE ) for all of us who ENJOY A FISH DINER you've more likely than not eaten it at some time or another. Mighty nice white fleshed fish and Crazy popular everywhere. I have about 3 lbs in the freezer.

This is one of the MANY NON NATIVE FISH that are just about everyplace in south Florida today. They are a threat to native species . On the up side. They are also one of the favorites of every Wadding Bird in Florida and Gators of all sizes
can not get enough.

Nice capture and details, Jack! Eat tons of fish, but we never eat this one. Mahi Mahi, Ahi and Salmon. Smoked 4lbs of salmon a couple of weeks ago.

A great capture Jack! I have never even heard of Tilapia before today!
Some irresponsible fool released a few European Carp into our inland waterways and they are now decimating our native fish! They are a rubbish table fish!

Delicious capture, Jack!! I like to sprinkle mine with McCormick's Steak seasoning and grill on a mesquite charcoal fire...did not know Burt Reynolds had a nature center. Hope he's not doing any centerfold poses.
