Thank you Colette. It's way out the box for me, but just wanted to try something different to get out of my rut.

You do GREAT out of the box. A most unique and appealing SP. A favorite for me.

Thank you Michelle. I'd really like to do some sports action such as your "Looking Down" and "flying" shots. Getting close enough and with enough light has kept me away.

Hmmmmmmmm....I have mellowed and you have gone wild! Ahahahahaha! Okay. I am here in your gallery and looking. :D

Very out there Dale. I'm proud of you for taking a walk on the wild side.

Believe it or not, I was thinking of you when I did this. Had no idea what I was doing. I could see things in my head, but couldn't figure out how to accomplish it. So, I just dove in and gave it a go.

What I like about it is that you have paint both behind and in front of you! That was clever. And your expression is perfect! As if you are looking at the red paint and covered by it at the same time.

It's expressive and so is the title. They both evoke thought from the viewer.

I'd say there were no wrong turns there and it was a mission more accomplished than you give your self credit for. :)

Thanks Laura. After I get through with all the editing on my NZ pix, maybe I'll have another stab at it. Would you be willing to help me tweak the effort along the way?

I was taking a walk through your gallery, and found so many great images, but this is the one I'm commenting on (for now). I love this! What a cool and creative self portrait - very well done, Dale!

LOL! Lindley, of all the self portraits I've posted (ego maniac)you picked this one to comment on. Thank you very much indeed. :o)

I was just having a bit of fun and experimenting. Looking forward to gathering some tips to try something like this again.
