Thank you Tammy and Antonio.....Yes there are thousands of people on the grounds...the pilots are very, very friendly...their crews are terrific people...and you can even volunteer to be part of a crew if the balloon came short of some helpers....it's the most amazing event I ever seen....it is an event I'd recommend to anyone and everyone to see and maybe be part of!

Thanks, Thomas....Aaron/Elvis is known to me to be a "hangar queen"....it did not fly while we were there. Don't know if it flew the first full day of the event on Sunday 10/7.....Saturday 10/6 was cancelled due to traffic issues and from what I understand a motorcycle police officer was hit....so no flying that day...glad we didn't book that weekend! I guess if you go to Albuquerque from a far away place the best advice is to book several days....you just don't know what will happen...including weather....We were truly fortunate to get two days in....

Aren't balloon shows just the best!! We went to one by chance about 10 years ago & couldn't get over how wonderful it was. How good to be there when Elvis dropped in!! Very good work here=^..^=
