Hudson Yards Construction Project
---
If you are walking in New York City (Manhattan) from Penn Station to the Jacob Javits Convention Center, you will see, along the Hudson River, a massive area surrounded by tall walls.
----
Behind the Walls (I slipped my point shoot camera into a crack) you will see the work being done on the new neighborhood called Hudson Yards. Search the internet to see magnificent renderings of the finished project which will be viewable in all its architectural glory from High Line Park. Construction is slated to be complete by 2015.

Check the internet for some of the most gorgeous artist renderings of the Hudson Yards Project, expected to be completed in 2015.

A passer by is holding her iPhone and a large container o coffee at arm's length. Not a clue why!

On the wall that hides the current construction is an artist' rendering of the completed project.

"Hudson Yards is the area of Manhattan bounded by West 42nd and 43rd Streets, 7th and 8th Avenues, West 28th and 30th Streets, and Hudson River Park.

Since 2001, the City of New York, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and the State of New York have collaborated on extraordinary planning initiatives to create a development program that will transform the Hudson Yards area into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly, transit-oriented mixed-use district. The new Hudson Yards district will accommodate a major and vital expansion of the Midtown central business district, as well as job growth and new housing for the City's growing population."
