Back-Road Beauty
Coastal Maine can be beautiful in the Autumn – The fishing village of Five Islands is on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. You can arrive here by boat or it is accessible by a twisting and turning back-road that is full of character. Older homes are nestled into the tree-lined landscape while churches with tall steeples stand boldly giving this area a real sense of community. This old structure had lots of character – The freshly painted door made me take a second look…… One of the many treasure you can find when you get off from the highways and byways! An Autumn Drive

Absolutely gorgeous Jeff, both images are wonderful Maine visuals! It looks like you caught Maine at the very best time of autumn season there! The one time my husband and I went they said autumn was late and it was in the low 80's! I found one red tree at the time! :-(
