Bobby & John ~ Thank you my faithful followers! You always make my day! :) Bobby ~ You sure know how to make me laugh! :D John ~ Yes, it was a happy sight! It's great going on vacations, but there's nothing like the feeling you get when you return home to your own bed! :)

What a welcome sight to see the familiar sign on top giving a hint that you'll be getting back home. I hope you did not get affected by the quake along the west coast, We just felt a jolt a while ago here too. Take care Lorna.

I see I have arrived at the wrong end of your big fun trip, Lorna Dooners! I'll have to back track here, but first...I have a funny story about this boarder crossing. 1989. 19 years old. Airline employee with no real travel experience yet except Hawaii and Alaska. In a rental car with my airline friend, Anna, who was driving. We were going to cross into Canada (my first time ever) to see Niagara Falls. Welllllllllllllllllllllll, the guy at the booth just didn't like the "looks" of us. maybe it was my purple and gold Juliette roped bandana tight on my forehead with a matching purple shiny blouse? Or maybe it was Anna's big mouth and bad attitude??? Whatever it was, they decided to pull us over and search the car and us and our purses and all but tore the back seat out! They were sure we were on drugs! Lol... What a disappointment we were to them. :)))) They finally stopped their humiliating search and let us go saying "Behave yourselves while in Canada ladies"... HA! Love this shot. :D See you on the next image I open. :))) xo

Reynaldo ~ Thanks, Rey! Yes, the closer we got to the sign, the closer we were getting to our home and native land! :) Quake? ... What Quake? No effect here, fortunately! Hope you weren't jolted too badly! Laura ~ Thanks, Sis! ... but I could shoot you! I just finished writing all of my thank-you's yesterday ... and now, because of you, I have a ton more to do! LOL! Hey! ... 1989 was the year I moved to Hawaii! 19 years old too! I have to admit, when we were growing up, you always did look like you were on drugs! Ha! Ha! Glad you got over the border! :)
