Congratulations on the POTD. Love the composition. My grandfather owned a Packard dealership in California in the 40's. Based on the position of the body elements in the image, I'm guessing this is one of the runningboard spares on an early 30's model?

Thanks again, everyone, for your comments. CraigM...you're correct, but don't remember the exact year. I captured this image at a local Classic Car Show called Concours D'Elegance. This annual show takes place in Geneva, IL....an excellent venue for photographing classic cars. I didn't let the rain stop me from shooting on this day.
