Idled

	Way of the Truck Two rigs sit in bins located at the Penn Maid Dairy Facility located in the Far Northeast, Philadelphia, PA. I am not sure if the rigs are being 'dairy loaded' or in for repairs. "TRUCKERS' BEDTIME PRAYER" (Authorn Unknown) Now I lay me down to sleep, my big rig parked in the street. If it should start to roll before I wake, Please Dear Lord, step on the brake. Amen! Wave at a trucker today!!<:)) Lorraine A. Cook

"TRUCK DRIVERS OF AMERICA"

The truck driver is gone most of the time,
Driving down the highways between the two lines.

Lonely for his or her family,
He or she hardly gets to see.

While bringing food, merchandise, and clothing,
to people like you and me.

Seldom does anyone ever say.
Have a safe trip and have a great day.

Blamed for most of the accidents,
that are not always their fault.

They drive their big rigs
down that long ribbon of asphalt.

The truck driver has a lonesome road to drive.
They do it for all of us,
For it makes our nation thrive.

Few times do they get to stop,
because the conditions are bad.

Each truck driver on the road today,
is some child's, mom or dad.

So when you see a truck driver,
Wish him or her good luck.

Most of what America gets,
It gets by way of the truck.
