I rescued this guy from my dog, although he was holding his own pretty well. everytime she pawed him he would spread his wings out vertically and throw his front legs in the air, he looked quite intimidating. If I hadn't rescued him my dog would have eaten him because she loves to eat grasshoppers.

Dogs seem to eat about anything..Our new neighborhood pup brought me a live turtle and a dead baby squirrel this week so far.
