The Basilica Cathedral in Covington KY. Have posted a photo of this place before, but went back to try to get a shot of the large stain glass window that the web site states is the worlds largest church stained glass window (posted in the discussion). hh wide angle (10mm) HDR.

Randy, your photos of this church's interior are just about the best HDR I have seen. If it isn't HDR then I cannot imagine how you did it. Wonderful exposure technique.

Harriet - Thanks. This set of images are not HDR, although I would normally do so. I almost always shoot three shots for scenes such as this one, and did so here. However, as I did not have a tripod, the HDR "mash up" did not look good. So I pushed the raw and did a little filtering with Nik and layers in PS to pull the color. Original jpg used posted here, so you can see how much information is still in the raw file.

  Randy,
I know what you mean. I use a single photo, copy it five times then run it through Photomatix. The program "brackets" the exposure in the five shots. Then I work with the tonemapped photo in NIK, CS5, Lightroom and/or Topaz. However, your shot here is so noise free and natural looking that it is amazing. Have you ever been on a workshop with Ed Heaton in WV? My friend and I did this workshop last October and you look just like a man in the workshop. Thanks,
Harriet Feagin
