Langdon Hall


	Langdon Hall I was out towards Cambridge earlier in the week and made a special stop to Langdon Hall, the country inn and spa. It has a wonderful kitchen garden, that was in its prime, full of vegetables and edible flowers. The 25,000 square foot house was constructed in 1902, built in the Federal Revival style. It stayed in the family for many years, and was bought in 1987 by William Bennett and Mary Beaton, who turned it into the Country House Hotel it is today. The gardens were designed by Dr. Leslie Laking, who was RBG’s Director for a number of years. Marilyn Cornwell
