I like the counterbalance of the rock at the end of the bridge to the turtle and his smaller rock. It's easy to see the connection between the two rocks because the turtle on his rock is looking right at the other one. The turtle's placement on the lower third sweet spot gives him visual power, so we know he's the subject, even though he's small. And then the bamboo pointing to the turtle adds visual weight to his side of the image. Taken as a whole, this is a well balanced scene. Good example!

The main thing you could do to improve this shot would be to take it at Photographer's time for prettier light. But then, would the turtle be out sunning?
