Catch-All
A few steps away stands a thick, multi-trunked dragon tree, which had not always stood this way, because, for one, Coronado was once as barren as our Mojave Desert and, for another, a hostile camera crew from Marilyn Monroe's Some Like It Hot chopped it to a gnarly stump in 1958.

I admire the fortitude and perseverance of this tree that despite the chopping it received, it now stands so majestically on this spot for all to see and emulate. Nicely done Ysa.
