Monnie's right ~ moonshining fits that happy face! Ha! Seriously, Frank, you find the coolest people to take candid portraits of. I agree with Nancy: something in their eyes or expression tells a story far beyond their shared interest in, say, reenactments. This fellow's smile is downright endearing. So many of the real Civil War soldiers must have had similar innocent smiles... And that's where you come in, Frank. You show the common humanity in your portraits. A great gift as a photographer.
