I see why its name includes Emperor, Jeff. What a regal little butterfly --- its patterns and colors are really lovely.The colors throughout this capture are a feast for the eyes.

I wonder if the butterflies can still fly after drinking all that nectar. If it's anything like the bees that used to eat our plums, they were in quite a drunken state and couldn't fly. A beautiful capture here Jeff.

Wonderful, Jeff. Suddenly in our neighborhood, there is a small invasion of Red Admiral butterflies. One landed on my shirt! Boy, was I surprised!

Beautfiul close up..excellant DOF, light, color and detail. This looks like my tomatoes. Went out to check them the other day and half of one had already been eaten..by what I am not sure.
