The last shot from the Carpenter Cup Classic at Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia).
----
It was the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs, and this player (and his team) had all but lost hope of victory. I was standing on the dugout steps to capture this raw emotion.

  Nice Candid
Sport is a MINOR act in the Play of Life but it does teach you about Success & Failure & dealing w/each.
I think those who participate w/their ALL in a sport through HS & even more so into College are better prepared to face the challenges of the every day as Adults.

Another fantastic capture, so emotion-laden, Michelle! Looks great in B&W, too, excellent tones. You are so fortunate to be able to shoot in a major league venue - must have been exciting!

The essence of great photography is to capture the emotion. Well done Michelle. The B&W conversion adds to the dark feeling.
