Mesmerizing Blue Eyes
Head on image of a prairie rattlesnake
with mesmerizing blue eyes. The snake was laying on the pavement and not moving,so I got down on ground level to get the head on shot. I kept my distance around the snake. The snake did slither away after a few minutes.Photographed in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, South Unit, Medora, North Dakota on 5-17-2012 at 5:32 p.m.
