It was bucketing down and this trendy young woman was nice and dry under her copious cowl as she walked quickly across the road toward me.

Photographed '...from my usual seat...' at the Crèma Espresso Bar in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia.

Canon EOS 40D with Canon 28-135mm IS USM lens: RAW, f/5.6 @ 1/100sec, 115mm, ISO 200, Continuous focus, High speed motor drive.
Lightroom4 & PhotoshopCS3.

If you compare this to the b&w version you will notice I have removed the distracting elements from the bottom of the image to give it a "cleaner" look.

Looks awesome in color, too, but I still like the moodiness of the B&W best! This color portrait is a change for you!

Welcome back to the Crèma WENDY!

My warmest Aussie winter thanks for your delightful feedback.

It seems I only include a colour version if I can't decide between it and the b&w. I do aim for b&w's with my candids but lately the original colour versions just seem to have been as good or better so you get the best of both worlds. 8-)
