Spotted Jelly
This capture was from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This species is also known as a "lagoon jelly" because it lives in bays, harbors and lagoons in the South Pacific. Spotted jellies have rounded bells and strange clumps of oral arms
with clublike appendages that hang down below. Check out the videos at the Monterey Bay Aquarium website...so awesome when they move.

Well, here's a belated review: This is a really lovely capture, especially that translucent "helmet" it's wearing. Great lighting and subtle colors. Excellent work and result!

Wow! What an outstanding capture of this unique looking Jellyfish, Reynaldo! It is really quite beautiful! Your clarity and DOF are fabulous! I hope they have them in our new Ripley's Aquarium once it's built! ... Who knows, they might have some that are even stranger and more rare, ... Believe it or Not! LOL! :D This one's definitely a FAVE for me! :)
