The elephant got a fright, went backwards and crushed the zookeeper. The police have said it was a tragic accident, so hopefully this will not affect her chances of going to the elephant sanctuary.

What a sad event, Ann! Some jobs have more occupational hazzards than others, that's for sure! Love this wonderful portrait, the light and detail are outstanding!

Oh, what a shame and so sad, Ann. I too hope that it won't ruin her chances of living out her life happily. This is sure a terrific capture with wonderful detail!

A lovely portrait here, what a friendly face!! So sad to hear of this awful accident. I hope Mila can still go to her new home & have some real company in her later years. I bet she feels awful about what has happened also. how sad for everyone=^..^=
