Turkey Vulture
A turkey vulture spreads his wings to dry off and gets ready to take off. Vultures are ugly looking birds, but are beautiful in their own way and are very graceful fliers. We have a flock that roost in the cottonwood trees at the park entrance. They are there early in the morning and in the evening. Tweaked in PSE7, {cropped and brighten}.

You've shown him off at his best angles! I worked on the 12th floor of an office building and for 8 years had a great view of a KETTLE of roosting and soaring turkey vultures. I feel as though I know them intimately (they sometimes flew within inches of my window) and this is a GREAT shot!
