	S A L T Deep inside the Khewra Salt Mines (2nd largest in the World) in Punjab, Pakistan. Stalactites and Stalagmites are natural formations in the caves of mountains having limestone/salt. These form when rainwater seeps through spaces in the mountain dissolving limestone/salt over time and dripping from the ceiling. The hanging ones are called Stalactites while Stalagmites are deposited on the ground.
