Ghostly Sky Walkers

BetterPhoto.com Editor's Pick   Ghostly Sky Walkers
Ghostly Sky Walkers

---
The Comcast Center is the tallest building in Philadelphia and has TONS to offer as a tourist attraction.
---
But I've photographed the attractions several times before, as a tourist. THIS time, I wanted to try something different.
-----
In the lobby of the building there is a structure that I call a "jungle gym" that rises several stories inside the building's glass facade. Sculptures of humans appear to be walking to work along the pipes. I'll post a photo in the discussion area of how it looks as one gazes upward from the lobby floor.
---
On Monday's "Tourist Walk" through the town, this was my new take on the "Sky Walkers."

On THIS day, the clouds did NOT let me down, as they reflected amazingly on the Comcast Center's glass facade.

Two photos...one of the building as it looks as one gazes upward at lobby level, from the OUTSIDE, and the other of my favorite shot of the sky walkers from the lobby fllor. The starbursts are not from TOPAZ...they happened naturally.

Modern man! What marvels they can create. I thought your contest entry really WAS a man walking to work. (With gusto, too!)

Do you know what I like about your work, Michelle? You are not just a photographer but you are a reporter and you are willing to push the envelope and go the extra mile to get the scoop. We can always rely on your information to be factual as well.

You are quite an ambassador of the world around you and you'd make a fantastic tour guide!!!

-Laura :D

WOW! I have trouble when photographing tall buildings. When I look UP, I get light-headed and dizzy, Michelle. (My Pop was an ironworker...so I must have gotten the light-headedness from Mom (LOL)<:))

What a Masterpiece of Architecture and I LOVE the 'ghostly figure', My Friend!!<:))

Enter every doggoned one of them, Michelle!!! Each one is a wonderful take on this amazing building - "Comcast Clouds" blew me away, in particular! If I ever get to Philly, I'm gonna be knockin' on your door to show me the sights...I don't think anyone knows the City better. Outstanding work, all around!

Fabulous capture and composition, Michelle, I love it! I remember some of your other shots of this sight, but this is my favorite of the bunch! Very moody, and yes "Ghostly". And I echo Laura's sentiments exactly!
