Lifeguards were called into action the morning we were there to rescue a watercraft operator who had become separated from a tow-in surfer. All were safe and sound thanks to the rescue lifeguards.

Is this the same beach they hold the World Championship Surfboarding? It's absolutely dangerous, and as you say, CRAZY to be out there! I wouldn't even be a lifeguard there! Lovely capture, Heather, and I like all the diagonals happening on the building! (I think it's crying out for a closeup there, ;-) )

Nice capture Heather. I remember when I was there some of the lifeguard stations that I saw you wouldn't mind converting into a studio apartment and just watch time pass you by looking out onto the beautiful beaches and crystal blue waters.
