Calico Creations #1CS2, Used a layer mask to isolate the turtle and create lattice effect. Placed a piece of scanned calico fabric behind the turtle and cut to shape. Used spherize on fabric to create illusion of roundness then applied light overlay at top of shell and darker layer along edges of shell. By changing the color I used the same fabric to pattern the rocks and make the textured background. Finished the image with a layer of soft light.

Wow, Irene! Love what you did to this turtle. I expected to see odds and ends in the bkg but I would have thought he was already on a rock. You have great creativity and "rockin" dd skills.

The title could well fit you as well as the turtle!!! You certainly have done well with this one, you'll have to watch he dosn't get poached, I'm sure one this colourful would be worth a fortune!! Very impressive work=^..^=
